We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - Smartsheet Solutions Support to join the team!

Amentum CMS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee IT projects from conception through completion and provide high level Smartsheet Solution support. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams at Amentum CMS and NASA JSC to ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met all the while maintaining a high standard of quality and communication. The individual will be also responsible for developing and overseeing Smartsheet solutions and deployments for external and internal customers.

The Project Manager - Smartsheet Solutions Support will:

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, scope, budget, risks and client relations

• Lead and motivate project teams, assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide regular performance feedback.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and senior management

• Design, demonstrate, and build Smartsheet solutions that fit within new & existing customer business needs. Gain and maintain deep technical knowledge of Smartsheet including premium products

• Conduct customer workshops and training

• Serve as an advisor and SME while promoting best practices and capabilities of the Smartsheet platform

• Other duties as assigned

Requisition Qualifications:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a related area and normally possess 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or Information Technology

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• Business process optimization experience

• Experience with Agile project management methodologies and/or software development lifecycle methodologies

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.

• Advance in Smartsheet software, MS Project, Visio, Power BI, and Power Apps

Requisition Preferences:

• A minimum of 5-10 years’ relevant work experience or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education

• PMP certification or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

• Smartsheet Certification or 2+ years of Smartsheet Experience

• Lean or Six Sigma certification desirable

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Inspires and guides team toward a common goal

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
