Description
Job Summary: The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the team with coordinating tradeshow support, the creation of marketing collateral, and various Analytics assignments. The Marketing Intern will also provide assistance with planning all corporate events, including heavy involvement in the planning and execution of Culture Crew initiatives, Inclusion Committee, Special Interest Group events, corporate webinars, podcasts, and our Workforce Technology Conference. Position could include work in local Tampa Bay ‘tech scene’ for networking and branding purposes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Marketing Team with efficient coordination and organization of all marketing activities, initiatives, and events.
· Responsibilities may include creation of effective marketing collateral, social media, promotional materials, as well as event coordination in relation to the corporate brand of Geographic Solutions.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Certifications:
· Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, and/or Digital Media.
· Currently enrolled in either A.S., B.S., or M.S. or equivalent or related program at a university
· A need for flexibility, multi-tasking, and excellent interpersonal skills a must.
· Knowledge of project coordination/event planning experience is extremely helpful.
· Preferred knowledge in the following software packages: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint; Google Analytics suite, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, etc.
· Strong preference for someone with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tag Manager, and experience with marketing resource management tools (such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or Salesforce).
