Job Title: Data Center Specialist

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, storage systems, and network equipment
• Monitor data center performance, uptime, and capacity
• Perform regular system and infrastructure health checks and maintenance
• Manage cabling, power distribution, racking, and equipment moves
• Maintain detailed inventory records and asset management logs
• Ensure compliance with security policies and environmental regulations
• Support backup and disaster recovery operations
• Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and security teams
• Document procedures, diagrams, and change control records

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field OR equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience working in a data center or infrastructure operations environment
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, etc.)
• Experience in enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS), virtualization, and cloud-based technologies
• Knowledge of power, cooling, and environmental monitoring systems
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls)
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix)
• Experience in ITIL practices, ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy)
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Federal Experience is a plus.
