VIP Travel Consultant Full time, Indianapolis, Indiana, United States Onsite only The VIP Travel Consultant performs high-touch concierge service excellence to key client travelers and is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.). May include some after-hours support as needed. This position is located onsite in the client’s offices in Indianapolis, Indiana. Work hours to be confirmed. The VIP Travel consultant is the primary point of contact for the executive level travelers and provides active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling of related products. This position performs the job in a high touch manner and demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry. Works independently on requests. Takes the initiative to provide assistance to team members and management as requested. As a VIP Travel Consultant, you will * Expertly use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests * Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer * Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer * Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.) * Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules * Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported About you * Previous experience in the corporate travel management industry * Experience in VIP travel * Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes * Strong skills in GDS Sabre * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English * You will be required to work onsite in the client’s offices in Indianapolis, Indiana full time * You are available to work 8am-5pm ET Monday-Friday The VIP Travel consultant is the primary point of contact for the executive level travelers and provides active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling of related products.
