Ultrasound Technician – Travel Position Location: Greensboro, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12s Days Pay: $2,120.40/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join a healthcare facility in Greensboro, NC on a 13-week travel assignment. The Ultrasound Tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating medical conditions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in ultrasound imaging, excellent technical and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and other studies as required.
• Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently to obtain high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure appropriate imaging protocols and timely reporting.
• Maintain equipment functionality by performing regular checks and reporting any issues promptly.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety by explaining procedures, answering questions, and maintaining a professional, compassionate approach.
• Adhere to infection control standards, radiation safety protocols, and facility policies during all imaging procedures.
• Document imaging results, patient histories, and procedural details accurately in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Current and valid ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent in ultrasound.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technician in an acute care or outpatient setting.
• Strong technical and clinical skills in ultrasound imaging.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
