We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting rock safely and efficiently between our plant locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, some mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including bottom dumps and tankers. Responsibilities: Operate and drive different types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles. Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and delivery confirmations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders when necessary. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Qualifications: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating double bottom dumps and a tanker endorsement Proficiency in manual transmission driving is highly desirable. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
