**Job Overview: **
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various types of trucks safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to transport goods to and from various locations while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all safety protocols.
**Key Responsibilities: **
- Safely operate and drive a truck or heavy vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring it is transported safely without damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
**Qualifications: **
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Class B required.
- Experience with truck mounted forklifts
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in truck driving is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
