Summary/Objective: The 2nd Shift CNC Swiss Machinist operates machines to fabricate finished parts to specifications while holding tolerances up to +/- .0002. The Machinist loads parts in the machine, cycle’s machine, and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the company values, vision, and mission and quality policy.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- CNC Programming: Create and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings and models.
- Machine Setup: Set up and prepare CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment, tooling installation, and workpiece fixation.
- Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections and use precision measuring instruments to verify the quality of machined components.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and part quality.
- Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure equipment remains in peak operating condition.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve machining processes to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Precision Machining: Demonstrated expertise in machining complex parts with tight tolerance.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machining issues effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to qualify control and adherence to precise specifications.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on machining projects.
Skills Required: - Comprehension of complex engineering drawings.
- Ability to hold tolerances up to +/- .0002 .
- Blueprint, GD&T, measuring equipment
- Basic Communication

Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-Time hourly position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
