Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Kentucky

Overview
At our Award Winning Client , you will be engaged in a dynamic role as a Speech Language Pathologist. Your primary duties will include conducting assessments, treating various speech and language disorders, collaborating with families and caregivers, and providing services across different settings. You will be instrumental in helping individuals achieve their maximum potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer assessments tailored to each learner and complete all necessary components for the client's funding source to conduct Speech and Language Therapy evaluations.
• Treat a diverse caseload addressing speech, language, oral motor, feeding, swallowing, voice, fluency, articulation, and/or social communication disorders to optimize functional outcomes and avoid regression.
• Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized treatment goals.
• Coordinate care with the clinical ABA and PBSS staff of our client's team regarding the assessment and use of AAC devices for mutual clients.
• Provide therapy services in various settings including clients' homes, community locations, and clinics as per the treatment plan, ensuring clinical appropriateness.
• Prepare detailed reports such as evaluation/assessment reports, individual treatment plans, progress updates, and discharge summaries.

Qualifications

Required

• Advanced degree (Master's or higher)
• Valid SLP-CCC certification in Kentucky (KY)
• Valid Regular Driver License (DL)

Preferred

• Provide SLP License Number upon request
