A local design firm is seeking a Mid to High-level SolidWorks Designer who will be responsible for designing and developing machine components using SolidWorks CAD Software. This is a temporary assignment for about 6 months, working first shift from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Duties:

Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machine components using SolidWorks
Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams
Create and review engineering drawings and documentation
Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance
Optimize existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Qualifications:

Must have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
At least 3 years of experience in designing machine components preferred
Must be able to develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machine components
Must be proficient using SolidWorks Software and other CAD Software
Must have the ability to optimize existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency
Must have excellent problem-solving skills while paying a high attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills are needed
