Salary: 166,400 - 287,700 USD per year Requirements:

• I have 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• I have 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams.
• I possess 3+ years of experience in designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) new and existing systems.
• I have 8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• I have knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live-site operations.
• I have experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities:

• As a Software Development Manager for the ELB Control Plane Services team, I will lead a talented group of engineers in our mission to enhance the control plane to the next generation of scale. We will achieve this by building and evolving core control plane capabilities to support a global fleet of millions of nodes. I will establish goals for my team, prioritize work, and influence partner teams to drive desired business outcomes while fostering operational excellence. I need to have a passion for innovation and a commitment to making history with ELB.
