The Connexa Search Group is working with an established and growing company seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support critical financial operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement of internal processes. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and oversight of certain operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including coordination with remote team members
Ensure financial activities comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
Design and refine internal controls and reporting procedures
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Collaborate with internal departments to address discrepancies and support compliance efforts
Assist with daily reconciliations, payment activities, and reporting
Act as a key resource for external audits and internal reviews
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Experience with managing or mentoring others is a plus
CPA designation strongly preferred
