Position : Regional Sales Representative - Food Industry
Location : Tampa, FL (Covering Florida and Alabama Region)
Employment Type : Full Remote

Overview

A leading manufacturer and distributor of food ingredients and components seeks a motivated Regional Sales Representative to drive business growth in the Florida and Alabama regions. This position focuses on expanding market share across food service, specialty stores, c-stores, and independent accounts, requiring a strong sales acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth within the food service, specialty, and convenience store sectors.
• Build relationships with independent and corporate food service accounts across the region to meet sales and profit goals.
• Collaborate with Regional Brokers to achieve account-specific sales objectives and prioritize growth opportunities.
• Create and deliver presentations, promotional activities, and execution plans to drive revenue.
• Regular travel (approx. 50%+) within the region for customer meetings and account management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales experience within the food industry, with a focus on food service, specialty, and c-store accounts.
• Background in managing broker and distributor relationships.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong customer service skills and a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• A self-starter attitude with a hunter mindset and a drive to achieve sales targets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary : $75,000 - $95,000 per year, plus quarterly bonuses based on KPIs (sales volume, customer acquisition, CRM usage, etc.).
