Your Opportunity With Us

We are seeking a Product Designer who can serve in UX Design and Analyst capacities to help lead our small Product Design team in enhancing our proprietary internal and client facing applications according to various stakeholders’ requests. This role requires collaboration with multiple departments in a flexible and dynamic work environment to deliver high-quality software that meets both user needs and business goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of front-end design and be comfortable with all aspects of product development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design of new features across desktop, web, and mobile applications, keeping in mind the overall functionality and goals.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Create presentations, wireframes, and prototypes of proposed solutions and communicate them effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in user testing and use data analysis to validate design decisions.
  • Document processes, decisions, and outcomes for reference and future use.
  • Help translate wireframes, user flows, and prototypes into technical specifications.
  • Mentor a team of designers, ensuring their professional growth and skill development.
  • Provide constructive feedback on designs and technical specifications, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
  • Refine the existing design language by identifying UX best practices, creating style guides, and maintaining a library of design assets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A proactive, curious mindset with a strong ability to seek out solutions independently and utilize available resources effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, considering the full impact on workflows.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently, working independently when necessary.
  • Proficiency in UI design prototyping tools. (e.g., Axure, Figma, Adobe CC)
  • Proficiency in SQL/SSMS with solid understanding of database structures and data retrieval.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools. (e.g., Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Asana)

Education & Experience

  • Multiple roles within a product team.
  • Minimum 6 years in a product role.
  • Participation in the design and development of a whole application or major feature from start to finish.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field.
