Job Description

Job Title: Patient Account Investigator

Duties:

• Audit and update patient financial accounts for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor claims for both paper and electronic billing systems.
• Address claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies by working with payers and internal teams.
• Manage pre-authorizations and document responses in the system.
• Generate and analyze aging reports to identify outstanding balances.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, establish payment plans, and escalate cases as needed.

Skills Required:

• Experience in claims processing, customer service, and financial account management.
• Proficiency in billing systems and database management.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience; minimum High School diploma required.

Stipend:

• Weekly: $1,400 - $1,900
• Monthly: $5,600 - $7,600
