Summary

St. Paul?s County Line Church is an evangelical, non-denominational rural church with an average attendance of 125 people. We are looking to hire a part time or bi-vocational youth director. The Youth Director will help our church family reach, love, and make disciples of our Youth (junior and senior high school age). This position develops and implements a discipleship process that helps young people grow consistently in their relationship with God. This is a part-time position averaging 16 hours a week.

Duties

Key Responsibilities
� Plan and implement a weekly Sunday School Youth program
� Plan and implement a weekly Youth program
� Organize and facilitate periodic retreats, concert trips, conferences, fun activities, etc.
� Organize annual mission trips
� Develop and implement strategies aimed at both discipleship and outreach
� Provide direct pastoral care to Youth on an on-call basis as well as planned sessions
� Attend extracurricular activities of Youth
� Coordinate Youth activities with Lead Pastor

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications Required

? Born again believer with a vital and maturing relationship with Christ.
? Demonstrated faithful pursuit of leadership characteristics as listed in 1 Timothy 3.
? A clear calling to serve God.
? Agreement with and adherence to the church?s beliefs as described in its Constitution and By-Laws. 

? A thorough knowledge of the Bible
? Two or more years of experience in ministry
? Able to plan, organize and implement ministry programs
? Demonstrated genuine love and solid rapport with Youth
? Sensitive to needs and pressures of teens and young adults
? Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability and willingness to become a member of the church and attend worship services regularly

Nice To Haves

Additional Desired Qualifications

? Undergraduate degree in Ministry or related field. 
? Specialized Youth Ministry training
? Five or more years of experience in leading and teaching youth ministry programs
? Experience in short-term mission work.
