Under the general supervision of the Health Record Technician III, and consistent with California Health Care Facility (CHCF) practices, and the goals of Health Information Management (HIM) Services, the incumbent is expected to provide receptionist support services to Central Health Records. The duties performed and responsibilities associated with this position require a high level of clerical skills, initiative, independence of action, good judgment and a high level of confidentiality.
Minimum Quaifications:
Either I
One year of experience in California state service performing the duties of an Assistant Clerk.
Or II
Education: Either equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade; or completion of a business school curriculum, or; completion of a clerical work experience training program, such as those offered through the Welfare Reform Act. (One year of clerical work experience may be substituted for the required education).
