SmartTalent is looking for a Clinical Technician to join our client’s team in the Lacey, WA area.

 

Job Title: Clinical Technician (Non-Medical)

Location: Lacey, WA

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ** Occasional on-call shifts during weeknights and weekends. **

Pay: $18-$19 hourly

 

Job Description

 

Clinical Technician to join a team in Lacey, WA. This role requires professionalism, exceptional attention to detail, and adherence to privacy and HIPAA standards. The position involves observing and collecting male urine specimens as part of non-medical drug and alcohol testing.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

· Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of urine specimens.

· Observe and collect male urine specimens in compliance with company guidelines.

· Properly label and document specimens and prepare them for shipment.

· Provide exceptional customer service with compassion and professionalism.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area.

· Follow HIPAA guidelines strictly and maintain donor confidentiality.

· Occasionally be on-call during weeknights and weekends.

 

Requirements

 

Certifications:

· Must obtain the following certifications within 2 weeks of hire (if not already certified):

· DOT Certified Urine Specimen Collector

· DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing)

· Hair Collection Training Certification

 

Skills:

· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong communication skills to work effectively with diverse donors.

 

Other Requirements:

· Willing to observe male urine testing.

· Must be able to adhere to a business casual dress code (jeans okay; no baggy clothing, open-toed shoes, shorts, tank tops, or hazardous jewelry)
