Sesame Workshop is seeking MBA students for its MBA Summer Associate role . Sesame Workshop is the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, the pioneering preschool educational television show. This MBA Summer Associate will join the Strategy department . The Strategy department is responsible for providing strategic advice and consulting services to the organization’s internal business units, including Media & Education and Social Impact & Philanthropy. The team’s work encompasses industry/market and competitive analysis, financial modeling, business plan development, and identifying and assessing the pros and cons of possible strategies/paths.
The remote summer internship is project-based, with Summer Associates typically working on 1-2 major projects. Day-to-day work will include identifying issues and formulating hypotheses, developing financial models, conducting market and competitive research, synthesizing findings in slide decks, and presenting work and recommendations to internal business teams and leadership. A key aspect of the job is being able to assess and analyze large amounts of information/data, develop a coherent point of view, and present the information to stakeholders in a manner that enables effective decision-making.
Candidates for the MBA Summer Associate role will first be evaluated for the competencies and qualifications listed. After MBA Associates are selected, projects will be determined based on the Associate’s specific skills and interests and the needs of Sesame Workshop.
