Role Overview :
Engineering Lab Testing Supervisor will be given a unique opportunity to become a subject matter expert under the supervision ofthe INDOT District Testing Engineer to act as a liaison between the Construction and the Materials & Testing Departments to improve the efficiency of contract closeout at the district level. Daily tasks will include the following: contract document review, contract material record review, tracking contract closeout status, coordinating the resolution of outstanding material record issues with projectinspection personnel, and providing training, as necessary, on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting.
Engineer Trainee :
A Professional Engineering license is not required for this position. Candidates who have an Engineering degree and a current Engineer in Training license (EIT), but do not hold a professional license, may be hired at a lower minimum salary and are eligible for promotional increases upon achieving milestones including years of experience and obtaining their Professional Engineering license.

This position is located in INDOT’s Seymour District, Materials and Testing Department.
Salary :
This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $75,010.00. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience.
