**Job Title: Materials Associate** **Job Description** Join a leading defense technology company as a Materials Associate, where your role is integral to transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. Working in Santa Ana and Costa Mesa, CA, you will be part of a team dedicated to innovating how military systems are designed and built. This day shift position offers a significant amount of overtime, providing the opportunity for enhanced earnings. **Responsibilities** + Process shipping and receiving at the Santa Ana and Costa Mesa locations as needed. + Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing product. + Ensure material movement across sites is accurately transacted for each move. + Pull orders from inventory, deliver production materials and supplies, and stage finished product for final distribution. + Complete cycle counts and conduct all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority. + Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks. + Expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production schedules. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role. + 2+ years experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling. + Familiarity with inventory management including Lot, Serial, and Batch tracking at high mix, high production volumes. + Excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. + Forklift and pallet jack experience. + Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tooling. + Valid driver's license. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a rapidly growing company that values top performers and provides opportunities to support innovative projects like the Roadrunner assembly. The position involves a day shift from 7am to 5pm with the potential for overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
