**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
As a machine operator, you will be responsible for safely operating equipment to meet production and quality standards. You will set up and operate machines, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
+ Perform basic operation of equipment to produce at rate and meet quality standards.
+ Set up and operate forming, deburring, and heading machines to create sleeves or other products.
+ Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary and stop machines when problems occur.
+ Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation and perform basic machine upkeep, including lubing, bluecoat, gritblast, sleeve washing, or packaging as needed.

+ Part marking
+ Warehouse operations
+ Production
+ Machine operation
+ Inspection
+ Familiarity with bellcoat/thermal epoxy application
+ Ability to read and write English
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals
+ Mathematical problem-solving skills
+ At least 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of shop practices and procedures
+ Ability to read blueprints
+ Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments

**Work Environment**
You will be working in a large aerospace machine shop. The training schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the actual shift being a swing shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
