**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in machine operation, blueprint reading, and prior manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating multiple machines, making adjustments for quality and quantity, changing machine oils, coolants, and filters, and performing various machine operations including gluing and slicing magnets to meet customer specifications. **Responsibilities** + Operate and adjust machines for quality and quantity production. + Change machine oils, coolants, and filters as needed. + Run multiple machines simultaneously. + Glue smaller magnets into larger magnets and slice them according to customer specifications. + Perform setups and operate various machine tools for machining, assembly, and hand operations to construct, alter, and repair patterns, tools, fixtures, and equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in machine operation. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Prior manufacturing experience. + Proficiency in operating grinding machines, CNC mills, and CNC lathes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with general production and machine tools like mills and lathes. + Knowledge of CNC machining and slitter machines. + Ability to assist higher-grade machinists in tooling operations. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values growth and skill development, offering opportunities to learn and become an invaluable team member. Enjoy a contract-to-hire opportunity in a workplace focused on creating an inclusive team culture through monthly activities like company picnics and softball games. **Work Environment** The position offers openings on two shifts: 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Fridays, and 2nd shift from 2:45 PM to 12:15 AM Monday through Thursday and 2:45 PM to 6:45 PM on Fridays. The work environment may involve exposure to industrial oils, coolants, solvents, and other chemicals, with all safety precautions in place. The facility is climate-controlled, though some areas may have excessive noise. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
