Job Description

Title:  Lab Technician
Location: Wilmington, DE
Schedule:  M-F Full Time 1st Shift
Type: 1 year Contract, ability to extend

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chromatographic analysis of a variety of samples in support of R&D, customer service and manufacturing. 
• Assisting in the analysis of samples using standard methods as well as assist senior analysts in development of new methods. 
• Testing involves gas and liquid chromatographic techniques, automated titration, use of OpenLab chromatographic software and handling of chemicals for preservative determinations. 
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory, work safely in an R&D environment, and actively participate in company safety programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associate degree in a Chemistry or Chemical Science, with a preference for analytical experience.
• Experience with the following are highly preferred:
• High Performance Liquid Chromatography
• Gas Chromatography
• Familiarity with common chromatography data systems
• Accurate sample preparation procedures
• Statistical procedures and data processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
