Job Title: Investment Analyst

Aligned Solutions is seeking a Investment Analyst for a well respected company. We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to conduct financial research and reporting on prospective investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will evaluate the performance and sustainability of various investments, supporting sound portfolio-management strategies through in-depth analysis and clear, actionable data. This role includes close collaboration with executive leadership and plays a vital part in both company and personal investment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Strategy Support

• Conduct research and analyze assets including stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities.

• Evaluate economic and market trends, financial statements, and earnings prospects to inform investment decisions.

• Assist in transaction due diligence, investment analysis, and preparation of financial models.

• Draft and edit investment memos, letters of intent, and management agreements.

• Track market trends and assess risks, opportunities, and new products.

• Prepare advisory reports and recommendations on new investment opportunities.

• Maintain an investment tracker and compile summary reports on projected returns.

• Review and reflect on historical investment decisions to inform future strategy.

• Liaise with fund managers and maintain a strong professional network.

Executive Support & Coordination

• Support alternative investments managed by the CEO and provide performance rationale.

• Organize information flow to enhance CEO productivity; coordinate meeting agendas and follow-ups.

• Attend meetings with or on behalf of the CEO to document outcomes and ensure follow-through.

• Coordinate interdepartmental workflows involving accounting, construction, development, and finance.

• Handle early-stage investment leads in advance of senior leadership involvement.

Administrative & Reporting

• Provide backup support to the CEO’s executive office team.

• Manage a pipeline of high-profile F&B retail investments, coordinating across stakeholders.

• Deliver monthly reporting packages including:

  • Personal financial statements

  • Family office investment reports

  • Asset management summaries

  • Third-party financial reports (lenders, partners)

• Maintain and update CEO’s binder materials, including departmental minutes and financial reports.

• Track and support company creation efforts related to strategic initiatives like the “MetaCity” project.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Investment Analyst.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high proficiency in financial modeling.

• Advanced data collection, research, and report-writing capabilities.

• Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and investment strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working in high-pressure environments.

• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
