What You'll Do:

As a Property Adjuster Specialist, you will:

Manage a caseload of complex property claims, ensuring each one is investigated, evaluated, and settled within established guidelines.
Work with vendors, internal partners, and regulatory bodies to resolve claims efficiently and accurately.
Conduct thorough research to verify claim damages, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved and subrogation potential is identified when appropriate.
Evaluate and determine coverage through analysis of complex policy terms, and handle legal liability when applicable.
Negotiate fair settlements within your authority, and collaborate with management for decisions outside your limits.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation throughout the claims process, ensuring all records are comprehensive and complete.
Use advanced estimating technology and virtual inspection tools to support your claims process, particularly for complex condo claims.
Be available for on-call responses during catastrophes (CAT), including evening, weekend, and holiday work as needed.
Work independently and solve complex problems with minimal supervision, all while serving as a resource to less experienced colleagues.
Travel as necessary, whether for in-person inspections, training, or resolving claims.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a candidate with:

A High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in property claims adjusting, including handling complex losses such as structural damage and writing estimates.
Proficiency in using estimating tools like Xactimate or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of residential construction and property claims contracts.
Excellent negotiation, communication, investigation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel 50-75% of the time for claims-related work.
Successful completion of an insurance adjuster license within 90 days of hire.

What Sets You Apart:

You may stand out if you have:

Military experience or are a spouse/domestic partner of someone in the military.
Experience in desk adjusting property claims with virtual tools such as ClaimsXperience, Hover, or Eagleview.
Experience handling complex condo, litigation, and liability claims.
Industry designations like AINS, CPCU, AIC, or SCLA, or are actively pursuing them.
An active Adjuster License and/or Xactimate certification.
A bachelor's degree or call center experience.

Location & Schedule:

This hybrid role requires in-office presence 3 days a week. We offer flexibility and will work with you to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

Positions are available in San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Chesapeake, VA, or Tampa, FL. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM CST, with occasional weekend work during high-demand periods.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $67,750.00 - $121,950.00 (based on experience and location)
Eligible for pay incentives based on performance.
