The Role:
Are you passionate about bringing history to life and exploring the wonders of our world? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher specialising in History and Geography. You will inspire students to understand the past, engage with current global challenges, and develop a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and environments. Teaching up to IGCSE and A Level, you will create captivating lessons that promote critical thinking, analytical skills, and global awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in History and Geography, aligned with the British curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations, ensuring high academic standards.
- Foster an appreciation for historical events, geographical concepts, and their relevance to today’s world.
- Encourage debate, independent research, and analytical thinking in the classroom.
- Integrate technology and global perspectives into lesson planning.
- Monitor student progress, providing guidance and support to help them excel.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Humanities curriculum.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, Education, or a related field.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching History and Geography up to GCSE and A Level.
*Strong understanding of British curriculum standards and assessment.
*Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
*Passion for inspiring global awareness and historical understanding in students.

A salary from 22,000 up to 31,000 CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
