**Electromechanical Technician** **Location:** San Jose, CA | **Shift:** 1st (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday) **Pay:** $34 - $38 per hour (depending on experience) **Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Holidays **About the Role:** Join Johnson & Johnson's Systems Capital team at their San Jose facility, where you will play a critical role assembling, testing, and validating complex electromechanical medical devices. Your work will directly impact lives by supporting the production of advanced surgical robotics and new product introductions. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assemble and test electromechanical assemblies using hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers), precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes), soldering stations, and computer software. + Follow detailed engineering and production instructions to build, inspect, verify, and document assemblies. + Maintain clear, legible handwritten documentation adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP). + Operate manufacturing equipment safely and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental protocols. + Identify, escalate, and document nonconformances and support corrective actions. + Collaborate with engineering teams on research, development, validation, and new product introductions. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or Associate's degree preferred. + Minimum of 2 years experience in electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related technical field. + Skilled in using hand tools, precision instruments, electronic testers, soldering equipment, and related software systems. + Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality standards. + Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds and move heavier materials with appropriate equipment. **Preferred:** + Experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems. + Proficiency with multiple software tools and aptitude for learning new systems quickly. **Why Join?** Work for a globally respected leader in medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
