Staff Management Group is seeking a General Laborer for our client in Union, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8AM - 4PM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

• $17 / hour 

Job Summary:

The General Laborer is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving cargo within the warehouse environment. This role requires punctuality, agility, and strong teamwork skills to ensure efficient handling and movement of goods.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load and unload cargo from trucks and storage areas.
• Move and position materials throughout the warehouse as directed.
• Assist with organizing and staging items for shipment or storage.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of cargo.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support smooth operations.

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Punctuality and reliability to maintain consistent attendance.
• Physical agility and stamina to handle manual tasks and heavy lifting.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks.
