Position Overview:

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our dynamic team at our Mount Pleasant, Texas facility. In this role, you will perform multiple manual tasks and duties assisting with the production and harvest of our leafing greens. You will work closely with all areas of the company to produce a quality product for our customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Each employee at Local Bounti must uphold and support all food safety rules, regulations, and requirements. Local Bounti considers food safety a core value that ensures a safe and wholesome food product.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. 
• Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards. 
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operations of malfunctions. 
• Sanitize, wash and clean work areas, equipment and production areas while wearing appropriate PPE. 
• Assist operators by supplying materials, holding materials and tools.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Experience in greenhouse agriculture preferred. 
• Must have basic knowledge of machines, tools, including their operation, uses & maintenance.
• Ability to communicate information effectively with others. 
• Excellent teamwork skills.
