**Job Title: Furniture Assembler** **Job Description**
Join our Syracuse team as a furniture installer, where you'll play a vital role in assembling and installing office furniture for large construction projects. This is a permanent position with a stable company, offering a great opportunity to grow and develop your skills.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load, transport, and unload office furniture at job sites.
+ Assemble and install desks, chairs, cubicles, shelving, and cabinets according to specifications.
+ Ensure proper alignment, stability, and functionality of installed furniture.
+ Follow blueprints, installation guides, and client instructions for accurate placement.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of packaging materials properly.
+ Use hand and power tools safely for assembly and installation.
+ Communicate with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
+ Adhere to safety protocols, including lifting techniques and workspace precautions.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience in construction labor, mechanical assembly, manufacturing assembly, roofing, landscaping, or related construction fields.
+ Experience operating a box truck or large delivery truck.
+ Clean driving record.
+ Willingness to work overtime and travel regionally throughout NY.
+ Reliable transportation.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
+ Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in furniture installation, carpentry, or related fields preferred.
+ Ability to lift and maneuver heavy furniture safely.
+ Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
+ OSHA 10 certification preferred.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime during the week and on Saturdays. Occasional overnight travel is required, with accommodations provided. Work primarily takes place indoors in office buildings, but may involve warehouse work or outdoor loading/unloading. PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times, along with steel toe/safety toe boots, work pants/jeans, and non-graphic t-shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, NY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
