Apply now! **Location:** 3030 Main Ave - Fargo, North Dakota 58103 **Job Description:** **Pay: Starting at $26/hr** **Schedule: First Shift** ***Monday - Friday** ***8-10 hour shifts** ***Rotating weekends on-call** This role is responsible for basic and/or non-routine preventative and corrective maintenance; maintain and repair machinery and equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, material handling equipment, etc.) within the distribution facility. May assist with basic building maintenance as required. **Here's what you'll do:** + Responsible for basic and/or non-routine preventative and corrective maintenance; maintain and repair machinery and equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, material handling equipment, etc.) within the distribution facility. + Troubleshoot, diagnose, test and inspect (audibly and visually) equipment to determine need for repair. + Dismantle, install and repair parts, electrical apparatus, mechanical systems and/or components of material handling equipment. + Assemble and test equipment to ensure correction of necessary repairs and maintenance. + Maintain a safe working environment. + Assist with basic building maintenance as required. + Assist other mechanics with complex general repair as requested. + Responsible for the adherence of all maintenance policies and procedures at assigned location. + Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed **Here's what you'll need:** + Valid Driver's License (Required) + Two years mechanical/machinery maintenance experience or related technical school certification, + Experience with forklift and material handling equipment maintenance and repair a plus. + Proficiency in the use of mechanical tools required. + Must be able to listen to and visually inspect machinery in order to diagnose maintenance needs. Ability to read schematics. + Must be able to safely drive all material handling equipment. + Good communication skills, written and verbal, to communicate and/or document maintenance needs and status of projects. + Must report for work regularly and on time, as scheduled. + Must be able to take direction from supervisor(s) and works well with others. + Must work well under pressure, and is able to organize and prioritize work assignments, and meet established deadlines. + Must perform assigned tasks accurately and completely. + Must be flexible and able to handle changes in work requirements productively.
