We have been here since 1964 and was built for IKEAs customer to stay a bit longer. Now, about 50 years later we are a business hotel with around 40 co-workers. We welcome guests from near and far. We are serving meatballs, making beds, and acts as the natural meeting place and social hub in Älmhult. Now, with greater capacity than ever we fully focus on the needs of our guests! We offer 254 hotel rooms, 5 conference rooms, large common areas, laundry rooms and gym. We are serving great food both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our mission is to make our guests feel at home while staying at IKEA Hotell. Job Description Our values, co-workers and culture have made IKEA one of Sweden's most interesting and popular workplaces. Our team in the Hotel consists of about 50 co-workers with different experiences and backgrounds who together meet our guests with a service-minded approach and great commitment, and now we want to strengthen our MUMS Café team in order to prepare for an exciting fall with a lot of new challenges ahead. So therefore, we are looking for you who want to work as a Food & Beverage co-worker in our café and kitchen. As a Food & Beverage co-worker you will play an important role in preparing, cooking and serving breakfast, and lunch for all colleagues at IKEA of Sweden and also external guests. At IKEA MUMS Café we all work as a team and support each other where help is needed, regardless if that is taking care of the dishes, serving food to our guests or clearing tables and develop the range in a sustainable way. Qualifications We are looking for you who want to be a part of creating an exciting food experiences with Småland in focus. You love service and that you, together with your colleagues, are being able to meet your guests and customers everyday! Your personality is of great importance to us. To succeed in this role we expect you take own initiatives to get things done, and be curious to find new better ways of doing things. You have the ability to solve problems that arise on a daily basis. You like working together with your colleagues, you are a great team-member and have a passion for food and guest experiences. We expect you to speak and write both Swedish and English fluently, and it is a plus if you master some additional language. You are also comfortable working with computers. You must be over 18 years of age and hold a drivers license and a work permit making you eligible to work in Sweden. And of course you share our passion for IKEA's history, culture and values! Additional Information We offer you the opportunity to work in a growing company where you can further develop your professional skills in your daily work. The position we now offer is a part time permanent employment on 80%. We expect you to start no later than the 1st of May, in order to give you a good start.
