Examples of Duties
Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department hires certified Firefighter/Paramedics (FF/PM). Fourth (4th) semester paramedics may apply, however, you must obtain your State of Florida Paramedic certification by March 25, 2024.
The CSPFD New Hire Assessment includes:

- Practical Exam in EMS & Fire Skills

Typical Qualifications
The following certificates must be uploaded AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION .

- State of Florida Firefighter 2 Certificate
- Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
- CPAT (National)
- CSPFD ONLY accepts CPAT
- CPAT scores must be valid between the dates of January 23, 2023 - January 23, 2024. If you do not have a CPAT, please check with Palm Beach State College for the next scheduled CPAT.
- One of the following:
- State of Florida Paramedic License OR
- Letter from current school noting you are currently a 4th semester paramedic with a projected graduation date from the program
