Job Description
As the Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, and providing a seamless service to guests, all while adhering to the standards of an upscale modern dining experience. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in fine dining or upscale cocktail bar setting, a deep understanding of mixology, and a commitment to creating exception experiences for every guest.
Responsibilties :
- Prepare a wide range of classic and contemporary cocktails with precision and creativity. Ensure that each cocktail is made to order and delivered with impeccable presentation.
- Provide exceptional, attentive service at the bar and to guests seated in the dining room, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience.
- Work seamlessly with the front of house team to provide smooth, efficient service.
- Ensure that the bar is always stocked and that guests' needs are met promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, restocking liquor and supplies, and ensuring all beverages are well-stocked and ready for service.
- Keep the bar area organized, clean, and visually appealing. Regularly clean glassware, tools, and equipment, ensuring a sanitary and professional environment at all times.
- Proactively suggest additional items or premium offerings to enhance the guest experience, such as rare spirits, specialty cocktails, or wine pairings.
- Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal cocktails, special promotions, or unique drinks that reflect the restaurant's style and brand
- Work closely with team members to ensure that all service standards are consistently met and the guest service flows smoothly between the kitchen, dining room, and bar
- Follow all health and safety regulations and ensure adherence to all legal requirements related to alcohol service
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end, fine dining environment. Previous experience as a service bartender or in a cocktail forward fine dining restaurant or cocktail bar is highly desirable
- A deep understanding of mixology techniques, cocktail construction, and drink presentation. Knowledge of both classic cocktails and modern trends is essential
- Strong understanding of wine and spirits, with the ability to offer expert advice on wine pairings and specialty cocktails
- A polished, professional appearance with an understanding of fine dining service standards and etiquette
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with fellow bartenders, team members, and managers
- TIPS certification or equivalent is required
- Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays and perform physical tasks during busy service periods
