Financial Analyst– Program Operations

About the Role
JEVS Human Services is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and support several program departments. This role is responsible for overseeing operational financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounts receivable administration. A key focus of this position is building strong partnerships with program directors, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring compliance with funder and organizational requirements.

What You’ll Do
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee program-level accounting and reporting in compliance with GAAP.
Prepare and analyze budget-to-actual performance, identifying key variances.
Ensure timely and accurate funder invoicing, reporting, and audit support.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Partner with program leadership to develop annual budgets and ongoing forecasts.
Provide meaningful financial insights to guide decision-making.
Accounts Receivable
Manage billing, collections, and analysis of third-party receivables.
Provide timely reporting of aged receivables to Program Directors and Finance.
Business Development Support
Prepare financial projections, analyses, and budget proposals for new program initiatives and grant opportunities.
Assist with due diligence and financial evaluations for partnerships and acquisitions.
Support integration of new programs into JEVS financial systems and processes.
Financial Systems
Collaborate with Program and IT teams on accounting-related software implementation and support.
Ensure smooth integration of systems with the general ledger.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus).
5+ years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience with accounts receivable and funder reporting (nonprofit or grant-funded environment a plus).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to teamwork.
What’s in it for you:
The base pay for this position ranges from $84,000 to $105,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
