Amazon Flex is at the forefront of delivery operations, owning a significant piece of Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery strategy at current & into the future. The Flex model utilizes independent contractors to help fulfill "Ultrafast" customer deliveries including Amazon Grocery, Whole Foods, same day Amazon.com orders and beyond. Our Finance team works closely with Tech, Product & Program Managers to track performance reporting and support analysis for optimization of pricing, labor planning, and routing, which help improve customer quality and reduce costs.
As a Finance Manager on the WW Flex FP&A, Pricing, and Compliance team, you will work closely with business partners on key initiatives, upholding pricing and compliance tenets throughout the Flex business.
This role requires a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy, and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity while insisting on the highest standards.
Key job responsibilities
- Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon. These decisions can have global impact.
- Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs and provide guidance and financial analysis for new projects and initiatives. You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
- Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
