Our law firm is seeking an experienced family law attorney who can assist our clients in navigating the sensitive legal issues of family law, including child custody and domestic issues. Job seekers should be equally familiar with litigation, prenuptial agreements, divorce, alimony, child support, and real estate, and be able to effectively engage in oral debate and negotiation even in highly stressful and emotional situations. • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases
• Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
• Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
• Appear for hearings via Zoom or in person
• Manage clients and effectively communicate
• Handle cases from intake to final order
• Flexibility
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required
• Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association)
• Ohio license in good standing
