Job Description

Salary: 80,000 - 120,000 USD per year Requirements:

  • I prefer candidates with an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree, ideally focused on healthcare, business, or information systems.

  • I look for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including at least 2 years in healthcare, business, or information systems.

  • Experience working in a team setting while sharing information and assisting junior members is preferred.
  • It is important that you possess detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise.
  • I expect you to make decisions regarding your own work on primarily routine cases and work under minimal supervision while using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors.
  • Collaboration with senior team members to develop approaches and solutions is necessary.
  • Mentoring and training junior team members within your functional area is valued.
  • Associated certifications in your area of focus are preferred.
  • For Epic Analysts: You must be certified or proficient in your assigned Epic module within 6 months of your employment date, and certifications must remain current by maintaining new version training.
Responsibilities:
  • I need you to analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and optimize assigned applications, solutions, and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements.
  • I expect you to collaborate across project borders with other teams, thinking outside the box to propose practical solutions to issues. You will oversee and manage assigned tasks.
  • You must demonstrate a solid working level of subject matter expertise while providing support to projects and customers and proactively seek new knowledge in your assigned areas.
  • I want you to represent user needs in larger system updates and provide organized status reporting on key project areas for external communications to stakeholders.
  • You will perform process and requirement analysis, including mapping current flow charts, documenting future needs, and delivering cross-team solutions.
  • You will clearly articulate complex design and configuration issues to end users and maintain relationships with end user leadership.
  • Contributing to strategy discussions by identifying pros and cons will be part of your role, and I prefer you to make sound decisions even with incomplete information.
  • Adhering to organizational standards for system configuration and change control is essential.
  • I need you to maintain strong technical proficiency in application-specific design and configuration, teaching these concepts to new team members.
  • Collaboration with operational leaders to standardize best practice workflow processes will be necessary to ensure optimal operations.
  • You will coordinate code changes with vendors related to financial and business application issues.
  • Working with the technical team to identify and resolve any infrastructure-related issues will be part of your responsibilities.
  • You should share industry best practices from vendors with operational leaders and demonstrate increasing technical knowledge of assigned applications and their infrastructure relationships.
  • I need you to maintain a strong focus on ensuring compliance with change management processes and communicate proactively about issues to project leadership.
  • You will need to be proactive in troubleshooting and resolving incidents and requests without direction.
  • Maintaining high standards for the quality of work for yourself and others while providing oversight and feedback will be expected.
  • Managing medium complexity projects and collaborating with team members as needed will be part of your role.
  • Completing assigned courses for educational materials and contributing to the department’s mission will be required.
  • You may need to travel to perform your duties and be prepared to work long hours during critical problems and on call rotations.
  • Assisting in preparing and conducting formal or informal training for users and co-workers will be part of your tasks.

Additionally, you should possess sufficient healthcare knowledge and systems expertise to implement medium to complex applications with minimal guidance while thriving in collaborative team environments.
