Location: Chicago, IL (On-site – Must work from the office) Working Hours: Monday to Friday Salary Range: $51,240 - $62,450 per year We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in the events industry and gain hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of events. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of events ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to social gatherings and community fairs. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with vendors, including catering, audio/visual, and décor suppliers.
• Help maintain budgets and track expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Support event logistics, including setup, registration, and breakdown.
• Conduct research on venues, suppliers, and services to aid in event planning.
• Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
• Create and distribute event materials, such as invitations, programs, and signage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, hospitality, or event management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for events and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
