Position: DON (Psych Trained)

Facility Type: Hospital

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some weekends as needed

Estimated weekly wage based on 40 hrs and including reimbursements is: $3159

 DON needed with Psych experience (Masters Degree in Psych)

* Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; master’s degree in psychiatric and mental health nursing or be qualified by education and experience in the care of the mentally ill required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted RN North Dakota license, and/or multistate RN compact license in good standing
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a psychiatric hospital setting
• Extensive knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles, practices and procedures
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and Joint Commission standards related to behavioral healthcare
• Proven track record of managing large nursing teams and driving clinical excellence
• Experience with formulating an operating budget and running the department within budget parameters
• High emotional intelligence, problem-solving ability and resilience in high-pressure environment
