Title of Position: Director of Events and Catering
Job Responsibilities: The Director will oversee all event coordination, including comprehensive management of property’s calendar and reservation system to maximize space utilization. They will manage relationships with outside contractors, generate banquet orders, and distribute forecasts while ensuring smooth interdepartmental communication. Key responsibilities include collaborating with culinary teams on menu creation, maintaining service standards, and providing on-site presence at events. The role requires proactive follow-up with clients, attendance at committee meetings, and creation of detailed event documentation including diagrams and post-event summaries.
