Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The NA Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s issuer, merchant, acquirer, or co-brand partners in the United States. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and managing risk.

The Strategy and Operations (S&O) team supports the North America VCA team through setting standards, developing foundational processes, and driving operational performance for the consulting organization. This Business Analyst, Strategy and Operations role will work on strategic and operational projects that have large impact across the team.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, highly collaborative team player who is flexible and proactive at identifying and resolving issues. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, S&O.

Some ways you may make an impact -

  • Manage the centralized staffing function and improve the way we deploy resources
  • Refine the new hire interview and onboarding process
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and design and implement action plans to address them

Specific responsibilities include -

  • Manage the project staffing of VCA consulting resources
  • Oversee weekly organization wide reporting for project pipeline, resource availability and resource utilization
  • Produce materials for VCA NA Leadership Team meetings
  • Deliver special projects to VCA NA on behalf of S&O
  • Manage vendor relationships with partner consultancies. This includes sourcing staff augmentation candidates and running monthly vendor calls
  • Onboard staff augmentation resources from vendors, track resource contract dates, facilitate extensions
  • Coordinate the quarterly pooled hiring process on behalf of VCA NA

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. ​

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

  • Proficiencies in PPT & Excel
  • Experience with RPA tools such as Power Automate

  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills

  • Technology mindset, curious, up to date with digital trends and Generative AI
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem solving and execution experience, proven track record of success independently driving complex programs of work
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to succinctly synthesize complexity and influence senior audiences
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and experience in building new frameworks and processes

  • Experience working in an agile environment preferred
  • Exposure to retail banking and/or payment card industry and/or merchant retail business is a plus

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 109,700.00 to 155,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
