Job Title: Amazon Product Listing Specialist

Reports to: Amazon Manager

Job Summary

This is an full-time position at Blade HQ requiring excellent writing skills and attention to detail. We are seeking a self-motivated, independent, and efficient individual to join our team as an Amazon Product Listing Specialist. This position is responsible for writing copy for products related to knives and outdoor gear and creating/updating product listings for Blade HQ and partner brands on Amazon. These listings should be engaging, accurate, and optimized for Amazon's search engine. Your strong writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently are essential in driving our online sales. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic writer who can transform specific product attributes into engaging, accurate, and unique product listings, repeatedly.

Tasks

• Write clear, concise, and engaging product titles, bullet points, and descriptions in a timely manner.
• Create high-quality Amazon A+ Content
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand standards and Amazon guidelines.
• Research brands and products to ensure listing accuracy.
• Perform keyword research to optimize copy for Amazon's search ranking algorithm.
• Upload copy, photos, and specifications (as needed) to Amazon.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Skills

• Ability to write accurate and compelling copy.
• Strong command of the English language with good verbal, interpersonal, and most importantly written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Self-motivated, ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
• Basic PC computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook/email, web browser, etc.

Physical Demands

• Safe handling of knives and other edged cutting tools.
• Sitting, typing, and viewing computer monitors for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Occasionally lifting/carrying product (5-20 lbs.)

Work Environment

• Shared office, in person, work environment near a warehouse.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2+ years of copywriting experience in the English language required.
• Experience with Amazon / e-commerce is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• On-site, Full-time hourly position.
• 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
• Attendance is required 9am - 4pm, Monday through Friday.
