*Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.*What you will be doing
* Supervises students in clinical settings
* Teaches nursing skills and health assessment
* Assigns grades for classes taught
* Complies with all class schedules and deadlines for course documentation
* Acts as a professional representative with the affiliating agency on behalf of the College
* Teaches the assigned course consistent with course syllabus and school curriculum
* May be assigned to provide academic advisement
* May be assigned to participate in departmental and College affairs
* May be assigned to develop curricula
* May be assigned to recruit students
* May be assigned to serve on committees
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Masters degree with Nursing major; and Valid Florida License to practice Nursing; and Two (2) Years Equivalent Full-Time Clinical Practice experience as a Registered Nurse.
* All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
* Theoretical and clinical expertise in medical-surgical nursing and/or additional ability to teach psychiatric or obstetrical or community health or pediatric nursing required
* Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students
* Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
* Must be able to travel between campuses and clinical agencies
