Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Status: Part-Time Hourly starting at: $18.00 an hour

GaPS is a small non-profit whose focus is on helping vulnerable, disabled, and/or elderly adults through guardianship, conservatorship, power-of-attorney, rep payee, and VA Fiduciary type appointments.

The Account Manager is primarily focused on client finances. The person in this position must be committed to the vision and culture of the organization. They will need to flourish in a multi-task environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining organization, accuracy and efficiency. The Account Manager processes financial matters for protected persons with respect and the utmost integrity.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

Manage client billing and expenditures

Track debt

Process reimbursements

Special Needs Trust

Meet with current and prospective beneficiaries

Set up new special needs trusts

Create trust requests

Organize annual mailing

Conduct bank runs for cash or deposits

Assist financial department when needed

Updating entities and entering data on new client intake

Perform other duties as assigned.
